In an age where MMORPGs are made like hotcakes, it isly incredibly difficult to find one which can complement your cup of tea. Fortunately, Goddess: Primal Chaos can be the one you’re looking for. Though it may not be a mainstream title, it sure seems like one. The game has outstanding graphics for a mobile game, runs smoothly, and has a large player base. If we could compare it to another game, it bears close resemblance to MU Online. However, is this game worth spending numerous hours on? Let’s find out:
Your first task in Goddess: Primal Chaos is to create a character, and you will be brought to the creation screen right after you start the game. Unfortunately, this is one aspect wherein the game is weak: it does not offer varied customization options. You can only select your character class and gender, and are not able to edit aspects like facial features, hair color, along with eye shape and color. It is rather disappointing, considering your character may end up looking like everyone else in the game.
There are three character classes in Goddess: Primal Chaos, which are the Warrior, Bloodline, and Summoner. In a nutshell, the Warrior is your typical melee fighter who wields giant swords, while the Summoner is the mage type character that casts powerful spells. Meanwhile, the Bloodline is an assassin type, speed-reliant character armed with claws. The choices are few, which may disappoint some people, but nevertheless, you will find the number of skills they possess appropriate.
Your goal in Goddess: Primal Chaos is to perform quests which ultimately leads to saving mankind from the “Tyrant”. Each quest will yield rewards and experience, and vary from monster hunts to fetching items. There are also “urgent wilds” quests which are essentially special events. Your quest rewards can be used to purchase gear, which in turn are important aspects in strengthening your character and in making him or her appear hardcore. Gear is the only way to customize your character, so be sure to invest heavily on this.
One of the best aspects of Goddess: Primal Chaos is its stability and easy controls. The user interface is clean and intuitive as well, and the developers definitely deserve props for creating it. There are five buttons you can tap on the lower right side of the screen. Four smaller buttons are used to activate skills, while the large central button is used to make normal attacks.
The multiplayer aspect in Goddess: Primal Chaos is one of its strongest points. You can participate in fast-paced and action-packed PvP battles, from 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 varieties. Apart from which, there is also an alliance system which lets you boost your character and exchange items to get better gear. Moreover, the game encourages you to participate in raids with other players.
Overall, the lack of character customization and the tiny number of character classes may make some gamers shy away from Goddess: Primal Chaos, but its other elements more than make up for it. With dynamic quests, multiplayer-centric gameplay, outstanding graphics, and intuitive controls, this game is something mobile MMORPG gamers should have on their mobile devices. It is highly recommended, and definitely one game you would not want to miss.
