Dead Warfare is a survival FPS that’s nothing short of phenomenal as it’s filled to the brim with an endless array of features that are constantly going to make players come back for more. Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of trying out some spectacular games of this particular kind but Dead Warfare seems to be on another level entirely in terms of features and visuals which is why it’s a game that certainly comes recommended from us.
To help newcomers get settled into things, Dead Warfare starts off with a fairly long tutorial sequence that explains almost every single thing there is to know about the game. It’s highly recommended that you pay close attention throughout this tutorial as it has quite a lot of important things to teach about the game and you may end up struggling later on if you don’t develop a solid understanding of the basics from the get-go.
The gameplay of Dead Warfare offers what is perhaps one of the most intense survival experiences that we’ve had in a while. Each individual level in the game features a really creative design and, as you’d expect, they’re all loaded with multitudes of zombies that you will have to annihilate if you want to make your way to the next level. The thing that defines this game and makes it such a delight to play is the fact that the gameplay isn’t just limited to mindlessly mowing down zombies as there’s actually a lot of depth to each level. In order to come out of each level alive, you’ll have to utilize each individual skill available to your character in order to make sure that not a single one can get to you. If you don’t play skillfully and simply spam bullets at whatever’s in front of you, it’s quite likely that you’ll be taken down fairly quickly.
As you progress through Dead Warfare, you’ll be able to pick a class of your preference from the many different options available and you’ll even be able to customize the equipment of your class according to your liking. One crucial thing to remember about the game, though, is the fact that some of the weapons are restricted to certain classes. For example, most heavy duty sniper rifles are restricted to the sniper class and this is why you’ll have to completely switch up your class if you want to try out a different play-style.
The visuals of Dead Warfare are nothing short of breathtaking and, as far as mobile based survival FPS games go, this is definitely one of the best looking options available. The environments are packed with detail and special effects, the zombies have genuinely intimidating designs, the weapons look authentic and the character designs are spot-on as well.
Dead Warfare is free to download and play but it has its fair share of micro-transactions through which players can acquire various kinds of bonuses in exchange for real world money.
All said and done, Dead Warfare is a top-of-the-line survival FPS that you won’t be able to get enough of no matter how much time you sink into it.
