As mentioned earlier, this game can be played across multiple platforms (mobile, PC, PS4/5, etc.), but the main mechanics are generally the same. You are free to roam around a massive open world of your own to explore and discover new places such as towns and cities, or even brave the dangers of ruins and domains where powerful monsters lurk. As the story begins to unfold, you will slowly learn the background of each nation and meet fascinating characters all over the lands!
One of the biggest appeals of the game is the exploration of the world of Tevyat. Basically, you can go anywhere you want (as long as the region has been unlocked), climbing mountains, gliding from high places to another, and swimming across large bodies of water! Out in the wilds, you can find all sorts of cool stuff like monster camps, treasure chests, abandoned ruins, making it feel like a truly lived-in fantasy world!
Of course, an adventure is many times more fun if you have companions traveling together! The game does set you up for success with a bunch of free characters that you meet through the storyline, but you can also further bulk up your adventure team with characters by summoning in the gacha system. The gacha banners will grant a rate up for certain characters over a period of time before switching to other characters, and you can also try your luck to gain powerful exclusive weapons as well!
