Hyper Front is the brand new mobile First-Person Shooter available on the market. Published by Netease, it has features of hero shooters and the classic objectives that everyone know and love. Matches are composed of a team with 5 members. Use advanced weapons and fantastic abilities to complete the mission.

Each character comes equipped with tactical active skills whose usage is able to turn the tide of battle. These range from intel gathering, support, or straight-up damaging hostiles. If those were not enough, an impressive arsenal of firearms is also available. Submachineguns, rifles, pistols; pick your poison and find the one that best fits a situation. People would obviously gravitate to those that complement their playstyle since each weapon have unique attributes to do so; take personalization to the next level by applying cool skins and paint coats.

Gather the squad up and group up a classic search and destroy match. Deploying or retrieving the “starcore” is the key to winning. Tactics, reflex, aiming, and the ability to coordinate are important factors in such a game. Don’t worry about things getting stale, try out the other modes like Death Fight, Arms Race, and more constantly evolving for you.

Maps are varied and well designed. Momijigawa, Polar Exploration Center, City of Citizens, Kavilek, these are the places where you compete against others. These are diverse multicultural locations hand-crafted to give exciting gameplay; it supports or encourages the usage of diverse plans of attack like sniping or rushing. Learn them and be creative to find new ways to outplay the opposition.

Controls need time to fully learn but the curve can easily be mitigated if you have prior experience with other phone shooters. The title follows the format of most titles. The left joystick is for movement, the right stick or side is mainly for aiming, 2 dedicated buttons for shooting are located on both sides of the screen, and other miscellaneous buttons for items or abilities. Since you only get one life per round, be sure to take things slowly and think before engaging. Making good plays means taking in information and securing proper positioning to get the drop on the hostile operatives. Try not to over peek or get separated from the team, you will need the help of comrades for support and to secure kills.

Graphics are fancy and the Unreal Engine 4 really showcases the world of Hyper Front in an amazing way. Its aesthetic is a near-futuristic sci-fi setting with a lot of familiar visual design elements to keep things grounded. The character art is of high quality, each one can be recognized from far away. Environments are well textured and detailed giving the maps a feel of being inhabited.
