Cell Expansion Wars is a casual strategy game brought to you by mobirix. In this game, you take control of a variety of tiny cells that multiply and take over other cells within their vicinity. Up to 16 different languages are supported for this game, with various unique mini-games to tackle. The game can be played offline, so you can access it at any place and time without the need of an internet connection.

The mechanics of this game are quite straightforward and easy to pick up. Basically, you are in control of the green color cells, and the objective of the game is to take over all the pink color cells that are present in the level. In order to do so, simply tap on a green cell, and drag to connect with another cell to extend a tentacle towards it and commence taking over it. The other types of cells you can take over are the grey cells, which are neutral cells, and the pink cells, which are the enemy cells.

When attempting to take over a cell, you need to be aware of your cell power and calculate if it has enough to attack an enemy cell and take it over. Otherwise, your attack might fail, and your cell may be taken over instead! Know when to cut off a tentacle so that you will have enough power saved up to tackle a different cell. If you cut the tentacles closer to its connecting point, you can attack with more cells, whereas if you cut the tentacles farther from its connecting point, you can heal more cells as a result.

After progressing through a number of levels, you will come across all kinds of different environments like walls, and also a bunch of unique types of cells. An obstacle like a wall will block you from being able to directly connect with the cell on the other side of the wall, so you will need to find your way around the wall. And then, there are those special cells that you want to take control of before the enemy cells do, as they may provide you with attack buffs, healing buffs, and so on.

There is an indicator at the bottom of each cell that tells you how many tentacles it can extend at the same time. This means that if a cell with a capacity of 2 has 2 tentacles connected, you will need to cut off a tentacle before you can extend a new one. However, some special cells have a bonus tentacle capacity, allowing them to extend a bonus tentacle!

Playing and winning stages will reward you with gold, and this gold is useful in purchasing items in the in-game shop. The Pill is an item that can be used to heal an ally cell with 10 HP or attack an enemy cell. Next, there is the Syringe which immediately converts an enemy cell into an ally cell. Last, but not least, is the Freezing item which freezes all enemy cells in place for a certain duration.
