Fortunately, though, Jurassic World Alive manages to pull off the AR based gameplay with perfection in order to provide players an extremely immersive gameplay experience that they won’t be able to get enough of.

Getting the hang of Jurassic World Alive is an absolute breeze because the game starts off with a highly informative tutorial sequence that covers all of the basics in a timely manner in order to ensure that players understand all of the game’s basics. The tutorial is a tad bit lengthy but, in the end, it’s worthwhile because of how much it manages to teach players about the game.

The gameplay of Jurassic World Alive is, of course, its biggest highlight due to the game’s AR factor. The core gameplay basically consists of finding dinosaurs and capturing their DNA by shooting harmless darts at them. In order to actually find the dinosaurs, though, you’ll have to physically move around the world with your phone’s GPS enabled in search of them. Once you encounter a dinosaur, you can launch your drone towards them and this drone can then shoot the darts that’ll collect the DNA. It’s important to remember that each encounter with a dinosaur only lasts for a short duration of time so you’ll have to be accurate with your darts or you may not be able to collect enough DNA. Once you have enough DNA, though, you can replicate the dinosaur in your lab and add it to your collection.

The gameplay of Jurassic World Alive isn’t just limited to collecting dinosaurs, though, because you can actually utilize your own dinosaurs to battle against others that you encounter in the wild. The battles are quite intense and fast-paced so you’re definitely going to have a delight playing through them and watching two massive dinosaurs go head to head.

The visuals of Jurassic World Alive are quite gorgeous. The AR aspect is definitely a treat as it’ll allow you to see massive dinosaurs being displayed as an overlay to whatever your device’s camera is seeing at the time. The dinosaurs themselves are also extremely well designed and look quite realistic due to the insane level of detail in them.

Jurassic World Alive is free to play but it does come with micro-transactions through which players can get their hands on some bonus in-game content in exchange for real world money.
