Last Day on Earth: Survival is a phenomenal mobile based survival game that’ll put you in a post-apocalyptic game world and set you off on a dangerous but memorable adventure. We’ve had the pleasure of trying out some pretty spectacular survival games over the years but this one definitely seems head and shoulders above the rest in terms of both concept and execution.

One rather peculiar thing about Last Day on Earth: Survival is the fact that it doesn’t really have any proper tutorial sequence to guide newcomers through the basics. Due to the lack of a tutorial, you’ll have to figure out a lot of the basics by yourself. Fortunately, though, the game does have a few helpful dialogue boxes that pop up from time to time and, while these certainly aren’t enough to make up for an actual tutorial, they’re still quite useful and can help out tremendously.

In terms of gameplay, Last Day on Earth: Survival lets players do pretty much anything they want to in order to survive and this is exactly how it should be in a survival game. You’ll be able to explore the game world, fight zombies, craft new tools and weapons, build your own shelter, meet other players and do a ton of other stuff. It’s important to keep in mind that the first few minutes of Last Day on Earth: Survival can feel like a bit of a grind since there’s not much to do other than simply collect resources to build a suitable shelter but, once you’ve gotten past the basics, you’ll be in for a delightful experience because there’s ton of stuff to do in the game.

Perhaps the most engaging feature of Last Day on Earth: Survival is the fact that it actually lets players raid other people’s shelters and bases in order to loot resources. The ability to raid other players might make the give the game a bit of a feast or famine nature but it’s ultimately a great addition because it makes the game feel like a true survival game because everyone is out for themselves and you can’t really call anyone your ally.

Much like its gameplay, the visuals of Last Day on Earth: Survival are nothing short of exceptional. The post-apocalyptic setting has been pulled off with perfection, the character designs are lively and realistic, the zombies look generally frightening and the environments are a delight to look at because the insane level of detail in the textures.
