Collect, level up and evolve your monsters
Face the army of bugs with your trusty team of adorable monsters
Don’t let the bugs reach the candy at the end of the path
Apparently, various types of bugs have declared war on the adorable Poring-like monsters as the monsters have been hoarding up all the candy. In this Tower-Defense-like game, Monsters Let’s Fight, you’ll be helping the monsters to stop the advancing army of bugs. Collect new monsters, level them up using in-game coins you’ve earned and evolve your monsters using the evolution pills that you can buy.
To start playing, you can download the game from Google Play if you’re using an Android phone, or from iTunes if you’re using an iPhone. Once everything’s installed and ready, you just need to input your username and you’re ready to play! Of course, you could also log in via your Facebook account so you could easily share your accomplishments on your timeline, but if you prefer playing alone, linking Monster Let’s Fight with Facebook is entirely optional.
Furthermore, the game doesn’t have a proper tutorial, but it does gently guide you to what you should do while you’re in the game. However, it would be nice to have some text-based instructions though. That being said, if you’re a huge fan of Plants vs Zombies, you should be able to easily pick up the basics of this game. If not, it may take you a while you get into the hang of things.
Generally, Monster Let’s Play will start you off with something easy – 1 lane instead of all 5 lanes and having 1 wave instead of multiple waves, for example. It will also slowly introduce to you the various basic monsters available in the game. Monster in this game are elemental based. Naturally, some elements will work in synergy while others will counteract with each other instead. For instance, the ice monster’s freeze effect can be undone by the fire monster’s burn effect. However, when facing down the super-sturdy ladybug creep in the game, you’ll need both fire and ice monsters in order to be able to deal any sort of significant damage to it. Different monsters have different range of attack as well, so be sure to place your monsters accordingly.
To place monsters into the grids provided, you’ll need to collect egg points from the many egg statues that line the “battlefield”. There are 6 egg statues in total but only 1 of them is activated at the beginning. You’ll then need to spend quite a lot of egg points to activate the other egg statues so they can start producing egg points as well. If you accidentally placed a monster wrongly on the battlefield, you can easily remove it by using the wooden mallet provided.
Monster can also be leveled up to increase their strength. Leveling up monsters will cost you coins that can be earned after every completed level and the upgrades you get for your monsters are pretty much permanent. You can even evolve your monsters once you reached the level cap of level 10. Evolution will change how your monsters look along with adding a significant boost to their damage-dealing ability. However, evolution requires evolution pills, which can be rather hard to obtain in Monster Let’s Fight.
So, are your tower-defense skills good enough to prevent the incoming horde of bugs from reaching the delicious candy? Play Monster Let’s Fight now and find out!
